Cameroon receives the TotalEnergies African cup of Nations trophy ahead of the 2021 African cup of Nations.

Barely a month to the start of the African cup of Nations, the trophy is in Cameroon ahead of that competition.

The highly sought-after trophy arrived Cameroon on Tuesday December 7 after being to 17 other countries.

The minister of sports and physical education, Narcisse Muelle kombi received the trophy together with some of his collaborators as they promised, the country will spare no efforts in making next year's competition the best ever.

After receiving the trophy, Minister Muelle kombi presented it to the prime minister, Joseph Dion Ngute at the star building in Yaounde.

The African cup of Nations trophy will also be presented to each of the host cities of this year's competition. That is; Garoua, Limbe, Bafoussam and Yaounde.

The trophy comes to Cameroon barely 35 days to the start of the African cup of  Nations to kick off in January.
