Samuel Eto'o Fils elected president of FECAFOOT

Samuel Eto'o has been elected as president of the Cameroon football federation in an election that took place December 11 at the Mont Febe hotel in Yaounde.

The former indomitable lions star won a majority of 45 votes out of 75.

Out of the 76 delegates who were to vote in the elections, one was unceremoniously absent leaving the voting on the hands of the 75.

Saidou Mbombo Njoya and Eto'o Fils have been at the forefront of the campaign for the top job after three candidates pulled out to throw their weight behind Samuel Eto'o leaving the two at the forefront. Eto'o has thus proved his supremacy over saidou Mbombo Njoya.

Samuel Eto'o has now made history by securing the top job at the Cameroon football federation. Cameroonians are expecting a lot from the former international star now that he has bagged the top job
