CAF names best coach, goalkeeper and player of the AFCON group stage.

The confederation of African Football has awarded the most outstanding coach, player and goalkeeper of the group stage.
The first award, that of best coach goes to coach Augustine Guavoen of Nigeria. appointed just 25 days to the 2021 AFCON in Cameroon, coach Augustine Guavoen has served the Nigerian team in an explicit manner since his appointment, qualifying them for the knockout stage with all 9 points and 3 victories. These among other performances showed by coach Augustine has earned him the group stage best coach as revealed by CAF.
In other sides, Ilaix Moriba of Guinea who plays for Bundesliga side RB Leipzig has been named group stage young player and in defense Goalkeeper Mohamed El Shennawy of the Egyptian side has been awarded best goalkeeper after playing 3 games in the group.
And finally Vincent Aboubakar called by his fans "Abou Béa" has been named best group stage player after scoring for Cameroon in all 3 outings counting for the AFCON2021 matching Samuel Eto'o's records after scoring five goals in the group games.
The knockout stages begin Jan 23 with Nigeria to take on Tunisia in Garoua and Burkina Faso to lock horns with Gabon in Limbe.
